Affiliate Models Explained | Maticslot

This page is part of Maticslot’s wallet-based crypto casino model. See Maticslot: Wallet-Based Crypto Casino.

This page describes affiliate models as a marketing and attribution structure. It does not evaluate affiliates, providers, or platforms. It also does not imply relationship, authorization, or approval.

What “affiliate” usually means

An affiliate is a third party that sends traffic to a platform using tracked links. Tracking is used to attribute a visit, registration, or activity to the affiliate for reporting or compensation logic.

Common model types (descriptive)

  • CPA: a fixed amount for a qualified action (for example, registration), where defined.
  • Revenue share: a percentage-based model tied to defined metrics, where defined.
  • Hybrid: a combination of multiple model types.

These terms are used broadly in the industry. Specific implementations can differ by program.

What affiliate models do not imply

  • They do not imply platform quality, risk context, fairness, or legitimacy.
  • They do not imply user outcomes or profitability.
  • They do not imply that an affiliate’s content is authoritative.
